This year we celebrated 24 years with Bro. & Sis. Sutherland. The Sutherland's came to the DRPC when nobody else really wanted to, there had been a church split several years prior to their coming and the attendance was way down. At Bro. Charley Pennington's suggestion the board called and asked Bro. Sutherland to come, and the rest as they say is history. The Dryden Road Pentecostal church has friends in every part of the continental United States, and many of those know us because they first became acquainted with Bro. Sutherland and his preaching. The Lord had told Bro. Bennie years prior to coming to the DRPC that he would send him from coast to coast to preach the gospel. Bro. Bennie had seldom been out of Lawrence county Indiana when the Lord told him that. But soon after Bro. Bennie obeyed the Lord and came to the DRPC doors suddenly began to open and the Word of the Lord was fulfilled.
