Indoor Campmeeting 2003

Campmeeting 2003 is in the books. We appreciate all who came to be with us. We had great crowds in each service. All of the speakers did excellent.

Bro. John Gabbard preached outstanding in the Wednesday afternoon service. Those who heard his message on "The Unshakeable cannot be shaken" won't soon forget it. I especially liked his story of how the Lord gave him a passage to stand on. If I can remember correctly, Bro John told of a time in his ministry when he was feeling down and others around him were being shaken. Bro. John asked the Lord to give him something to stand on. Although he said he's not much on plunking your bible open and expecting the Lord to talk to you concerning those scriptures, he said he had nothing else to go by, so he did just that. His bible fell open to the Song of Soloman, although he couldn't understand what God could possibly show him from those specific scriptures to give him strength, he read until he came upon the 17th verse of the first chapter 1:17 "The beams of our house are cedar, and our rafters of fir". Bro. John said he felt like the Lord was telling him then that although some were being shaken, the beams of the true church were made of cedar and that they were solid and unshakeable. I appreciated that message very much.

In our day services Bro. Dwain Galiher preached outstanding, his messages moved and challenged us to move closer to Christ. Bro. Dwain has a unique way of showing each member of the church to see how they can and should be growing in grace. We at Dryden Road thank him for each message he brought for us. Only the Lord knows just how many people were moved to try and move up to Bro. Dwain's Friday message on personal evangelism.

Bro. Randy Webb's burden for the lost was evident each evening. The Lord used Bro. Randy in a mighty way. Dryden Road could never repay Bro. Randy for the burden he has had for our meeting the last couple of years. His burden was evident in his voice during his messages. This year there were several who prayed, some not only prayed but got deliverance from sin's bondage.

We are thankful for both Bro. Dwain and Bro. Randy. We pray that God will continue to use them in a mighty way wherever they minister.

We are also thankful for all of you that came and made another campmeeting such a great success!
